Cyusa Technology was proud to be part of the foundational team for the MY Heart Centre, a non-profit center of excellence providing life-saving heart surgeries to the people of Rwanda and the wider region. As a facility housing high-tech operating theaters, oxygen-rich environments, and critical ICU units, the fire safety requirements were of the highest international standards.
From the early stages of construction through to completion, our team executed a comprehensive fire protection strategy tailored for a medical environment:
- Custom System Design: Engineered a facility-wide fire suppression network integrated with the hospital’s complex architecture.
- Precision Installation: Deployed advanced fire hydrant systems, automated sprinkler networks, and specialized extinguishers for sensitive medical equipment rooms.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensured all installations met both Rwandan national safety codes and international healthcare fire safety standards.
At the MY Heart Centre, failure is not an option. Our work ensures that while the doctors focus on saving hearts, the infrastructure protecting them is robust, reliable, and ready to respond in seconds. This project solidifies Cyusa Technology as a leader in industrial and medical fire protection in East Africa.
